Oregon Field Service and Laboratory Professional Jordan Harris

Jordan Harris of Portland, Oregon, spent more than eight years as a field service engineer at Astoria Pacific in Clackamas, Oregon. During his time as a field service and laboratory operations professional, he worked in areas of laboratory systems optimization, end-user training, and product and process improvement. While supporting analytical instrumentation and laboratory workflows at Astoria Pacific, Jordan Harris traveled to Vietnam to help set up automated testing equipment for disease screening and prevention in Hanoi. He supported a similar project in Canada.

Jordan Harris spent five years as a laboratory manager at Pace Analytical in Dayton, Ohio. He oversaw all daily operations in the company’s chemistry and biology laboratories, with responsibilities ranging from staff supervision to workflow management. His achievements at Pace Analytical included establishing a new analytical framework that resulted in a 98 percent on-time test delivery.

Jordan Harris holds a biological sciences degree from Wright State University. He has achieved various professional certifications during his career, including United States Environmental Protection Agency Drinking Water Certification and First Aid/CPR/AED certification with the American Red Cross.
